Where can I
learn?
The choice is yours! With thousands of learning
opportunities across Wales, where you learn is up to you. We currently
have 74 registered learning providers across Wales, which offer a wide
variety of courses. More information on registered providers and courses can be
obtained by contacting learndirect on 0800 100 900.
For many people being able to learn close to home is an important
consideration. As well as colleges and universities there are now many more
learning places throughout Wales – you can find them in shopping centres, sports
clubs, libraries and community centres.
If you can’t get to a learning centre then you can still learn at home or
work by using distance learning or you can learn using a computer or
television.
How can I learn?
If you are returning to
learning for the first time in a while, the whole prospect may seem quite
daunting. Don’t let this put you off, many courses are structured so that you
can work independently and at your own pace.
